Saturday welcomed the first full weekend of pennant bowls in Goulburn Valley Playing Area for 2025 and it was a postcard perfect day to match.

Bowlers in their hundreds descended on sun-soaked greens throughout the region to take on the first of the final five rounds of the regular season, putting on some cracking contests to boot.

In division two Nagambie had a monster victory over East Shepparton, with the former scoring a 17-107 to 1-58 triumph to start the new year in style.
