Goulburn Valley Suns’ young guns went toe-to-toe with a metro powerhouse on McEwen Reserve’s dance floor during a Sunday goal fest.
Hosting Northcote City in round six of the National Premier League East youth competition, the Suns’ juniors were up against it as the visitors showed their prowess in front of goal.
In the under-14s, Northcote emerged with a 4-2 victory, while the Suns’ under-15s were on the opposite end of a 7-1 result as Bukuru Kirunga hit the back of the net for the hosts.
On the under-17 front, the Suns battled hard, but fell short with City taking the win 7-0.
