Dookie extended its winning streak in Tuesday’s Goulburn Valley Playing Area midweek pennant action.
The small club edged out East Shepparton by six shots to pencil in its fourth consecutive win in the division four competition.
Dominant rink wins by skip Bill Kirkby (25-17) and Des Thorp (23-15) were enough for Dookie to hang on in the road trip contest.
The hosts’ Terry Logan (19-9) battled hard to give the Eagles a sniff of victory, however, Dookie held on to chalk up a 14-57 to 2-51 triumph.
