The BMX course underwent its first assessment as the AusCycling BMX National Series made a successful return, delivering a high-quality dose of racing across the board.
More than 700 riders from across the country descended on Shepparton to put the new digs to the test for the first two rounds of the 2025 series, which took place on April 26 and 27.
Former Olympian Bodi Turner produced one of the more memorable moves in the event’s history with a midair pass to snatch the men’s Superclass event, while Teya Rufus claimed the women’s race.
In the round two final, Joel Marsh broke away in the final dash for the elite category win as Charli Guy pipped Rufus in the women’s final.
News photographer Megan Fisher was behind the lens to capture all the action.
