Finley Cricket Club wrapped up its season with a presentation day in front of a good crowd of players, their families and friends at the Finley Apex Sports and Community Centre.

In the under-11s Jackson Urquhart won the Bowling Award, Kody Hamann won the Batting, Camilla Massina was the Most Improved with Lilly-Ann Cole awarded the Best Team Player.
For the under-13s, Lachlan Urquhart won the batting, Thomas Cole won the bowling, Henry Pascoe was the most improved and Rori Dean received the Coach’s Award.
James Winn took home the Cricketer of the Year and the Batting Award in the under-15s, Sophie Urquhart won the Bowling Award and also received a Five Wicket Haul Trophy for taking 5/14 against Tocumwal.
Jackson Pitt was the most improved and Lachlan Urquhart received the Coach’s Award.
In B-grade, Nathan Brown and Logan Eldridge shared the Cricketer of the Year honour.
Eldridge also took home the Batting Award and the Captain’s Awards.
Cameron Arnold won the Bowling Award and Ryan Bauer received a Five Wicket Haul Trophy for taking 6/20 against Katunga.
In A-grade, it was Archie Mason who took home the Gary Redmond Memorial Trophy for A-grade Cricketer of the Year, along with the Bowling Award.
Harry Wilkinson won the Batting Award and was awarded the Captain’s Award, and Dillon Hutton took home the Duck Award and a Five Wicket Haul Trophy for taking 5/31 against Tocumwal.
Mason and Wilkinson were also recognised at the Murray Valley Cricket Association’s recent League Presentation.
Mason was nominated as a Rising Star, and Wilkinson was selected in the MVCA Team of the Year as the wicketkeeper.
The club’s last main award was Club Person of the Year, which went to Rachel Brindley for her dedication to the club this season.
