The game is set to be played at Deniliquin’s Memorial Park number three cricket ground tomorrow and Sunday, from 12.30pm on both days.
Despite their final round loss by an innings and 52 runs to Katamatite, the Rhinos held on to first place.
Barooga finished fourth after ending their home and away season with a greater outright win by an innings and 250 runs against Finley, and two-day wins including a 62 run win over Nathalia and an outright win by 10 runs against Tocumwal.
Deni and Barooga have already met twice this year in the 45 over games, with the Rhinos winning both matches - by 153 runs and 61 runs respectively.
The two teams haven’t played a two-day match since the final round of last season, at Barooga where the Hawks won by 219 runs.
Barooga are the in-form team in the competition with the longest winning streak of four straight wins. But their last loss came against Rhinos.
In the other semi final, Cobram host Nathalia in a rematch of the last round where Cobram managed to win with a first innings lead of 16.
The winners of both matches will go through to next week’s MVCA A-grade grand final.
C-grade play the fourth-placed Cobram side at Berrigan Sportsground tomorrow, starting at 1pm.
Cobram lost their last round-match up against the second-placed Strathmerton side by 46 runs, while the Rhinos beat the seventh-placed Katamatite by 109 runs at home.
The Cobram and Deni C-grade sides have played each other twice this season, with Cobram winning the first match in Deniliquin by 35 runs and Deni the most recent clash in Cobram by 8 wickets.
A rematch of last year’s MVCA C-grade grand final, won by Deni, both teams will be looking to make it to this year's decider.
Juniors
The Deni Rhinos junior cricketers are at the end of their season.
The under-13s Rhinos Red and Rhinos White sides played each other last Friday at Deniliquin, with Red winning by 11 runs.
Ned Wettenhall and Riccis Ricon top scored for Red with 23 not out and 12 not out respectively, as they ended with 6/73 off 20 overs.
Jacob Holschier was the leading wicket-taker for White, taking 3/2 off two overs. Fletcher Smith (1/6) and George Marshall (1/10) were the other wicket takers.
Fletcher top-scored with eight runs, while Henry Campion, Edward Bliss and Jacob (who remained not out) all scored seven runs.
James Armytage was the only multiple wicket taker, finishing with 2/4. Riccis Ricon, Charlie Eastman, Joe Holden and Ned Wettenhall all got one wicket to bowl White out for 62.
There was plenty of good fielding from both sides, with three catches and a run-out in the first innings and five catches and three run-outs in the second innings.
While Red won the final match, both teams finished the season with an equal-lowest in the league, three losses.
The under-15s Rhinos narrowly lost to Berrigan Saints last Saturday morning in Deniliquin, also by 11 runs.
Chasing 137, the Rhinos got off to a good start, with Daniel Burn (31) and Fletcher Campion (28) top-scoring.
The Rhinos got close with several cameo efforts but were bowled out for 126 after 34.3 overs, just unable to get their first win of the season.

The Deni Rhinos 2024/25 Presentation Night will take place on Friday, March 14 at the Memorial Park Clubrooms.
The evening will start at 5.30pm with junior presentations.
Dinner will be at 6.30pm, and followed by the senior presentation.
