The U12 Blue team put in a commanding performance to secure a well-earned win over the Yarrawonga Rams. Dustin Nolan was the star with the bat, leading the way with an impressive 23 runs. Caleb Hein and Tom Lambert chipped in with 11 and 10 runs respectively, ensuring a solid total.
On the bowling front, Toby Smith and Tom Lambert were outstanding, each claiming two wickets to keep the Rams under control. A brilliant all-round display from the team!

U12 Red
The U12 Red team triumphed in a home match against the Wangaratta Magpies. Jack McKenzie was in fine form, finishing unbeaten on 21, while Ollie Ross added a handy 13 runs.
Ross also made his mark with the ball, picking up two crucial wickets to restrict the visitors and lead the team to victory.

U12 Green
In a low-scoring battle, the U12 Green team edged out Delatite to round out a clean sweep for the U12 squads. Sam Mount showed resilience with the bat, retiring on a team-high 13 runs.
The bowling highlight of the day came from young gun Matt White, who bowled just two overs but achieved the incredible feat of a double hat-trick! His exceptional figures of 4/3 earned him the title of Bowler of the Round.

U14 Blue
The U14 Blue team kept the winning streak alive, limiting the Rovers to a modest total of 68 runs. Hugh Ross (19), Josh Montgomery (16), and Tom Osborne (14) batted smartly to chase down the target with ease.
Osborne also delivered with the ball, picking up two wickets to cap off a brilliant all-round performance.

U14 Red
The U14 Red team had a shaky start against Greta, losing their openers early. However, Tom Mount (30 not out) and Harry Skelton (28 not out) steadied the ship with a controlled and composed partnership that guided the team to a strong total.
With the ball, Jack Hart and Tom Mount each claimed two wickets, securing a solid win for the Reds.

U16
Despite a valiant effort, the U16s couldn’t make it a clean sweep for the Benalla juniors, going down to the Rovers. Captain Lucas Ham led from the front with an unbeaten 31, but with only eight players available, the team ran out of batting depth.
Josh Hart impressed with the ball, turning it well to pick up two wickets, but the young Bushies ultimately fell short.

Seniors
A Reserve
A Reserve faced a daunting chase against Yarrawonga but gave it their all with a strong team effort. Vishal Sharma (38), Simon Briggs (36), Dale Stratton (55), and Dylan Barber (46) all made significant contributions with the bat, keeping the team in the hunt.
With the ball, Mitch Wheelens and Kallum Croxford each picked up two wickets, but despite their efforts, the Reds couldn’t quite get over the line.

B Grade
The B Grade team delivered a stellar bowling performance, restricting City Colts to just 83 runs. Xavier DeFazio led the way with three wickets, while Stewart McLeod, Leigh Pollard and Brendan Duncombe each claimed two wickets to dismantle the opposition’s batting lineup.
The chase wasn’t without its challenges, as runs proved hard to come by. Craig Williams (10), Xavier DeFazio (19), Hunter Carter (12) and Vaughan Carter (11) chipped in enough runs to meet the target in 25 overs.

City Colts – 9/83
C Grade Red
C Grade Red came up against a strong Greta White side that posted an imposing total of 197. Nick Jacobs bowled brilliantly, picking up three wickets to give the Reds a chance.
With the bat, Jordan Smith showcased his class with a superb 72, supported by Murray Parton (33) and Bayleigh Dervish (24 not out). Despite their efforts, the Reds fell short of victory but showed plenty of fight.

C Grade Blue
C Grade Blue travelled to Gapsted and put in a solid batting performance. Steve Hart rolled back the years with a magnificent unbeaten 46, including eight boundaries and a six. Mark Osborne added a classy 35, while Jack Hart (21), Riley McCarthy (28), and Tom Osborne (17) also made valuable contributions.
Paul Montgomery led the charge with the ball, taking three wickets, but Gapsted chased down the target in the final over of the day, leaving the Blue team narrowly defeated.
