Division 2 maintained their third place ladder position with an impressive effort away over Rich River, winning on all rinks.
In Division 2, all three RSL rinks were victorious, winning overall, 80 shots to 49.
Mary Ann Spizer played outstanding bowls as skipper to lead her team of Jenny Tonta, Wayne Bradley and Miro Peterman to the best result of the day, 28-15.
Linda Harris(s), Craig Taylor, Paul Connor and Gaye Goodwin led from the first end and maintained a healthy buffer all day to win comfortably 24-14.
Tony Tonta and his team of Ian Chessells, Chris Frampton and James Rhook were lagging 11-13 after 14 ends, but grabbed 12 shots in five ends to eventually coast home by eight shots - 28-20.
Division 3 were victorious at home with a win and a draw against Elmore to cement their fourth place ladder position.
They were playing for high stakes, needing to beat second placed Elmore to ensure they made finals.
The Diggers advanced with aplomb, with a 19-all tie on one rink and a big victory by 22 shots on the other to win overall 49 to 27.
Gary Hulm (s), led his team of Ron Marchetti, Ken Bowden and Allan Hodges to a dominant victory, 30-8, while Rod Reid (s), Archie Webster, Niels Hilton and John Wilson had a terrific tussle, finishing in a 19-all tie.
The Bowls Premier League event at Moama next week will see a week’s break in the midweek competition before the semi-finals.
The Division 2 Diggers will play Rich River at Mathoura on Tuesday, February 25 in a repeat of their last round contest, while Division 3 will come up against Echuca at Rochester.
