In the league one men’s competition, Shepparton United will welcome Tatura in what is sure to be a fantastic contest.
Tatura will be looking to bounce back after a 3-2 loss to the league-leading Shepparton South last week, while United, who is yet to lose a game, came away with a come-from-behind win against Epsom.
United coach Lewis Coyle said after a strong second-half performance last weekend his side was ready to go.
“We’re slightly confident with results last weekend with South and Tatura,” Coyle said.
“We thought Tatura could be the ones that actually beat South but we’re slightly confident going into the game.”
Former Goulburn Valley Suns player Joe Worrall is likely to miss Sunday’s game for United through injury, while United’s stars, including goal scoring captain Ermal Marku, will be ready to go.
“Come down and watch the whole spectacle because I’m sure there is going to be fireworks,” Coyle said.
In other league one men’s action, Shepparton South will take on Golden City in Shadforth at 3pm on Sunday.
In the women’s league one competition, Shepparton United will battle FC Eaglehawk at McEwen Reserve at 11am on Sunday.
In league two women’s action, Tatura will travel away from home to play Kyneton District at 3.15pm on Sunday.
