In the League Two women’s competition, Tatura will be aiming to finish its impressive year with a Super Cup win.
The Ibises, who finished the regular season on top of the ladder, will take on title rival Kyneton District in a qualifying final at Strathfieldsaye on Sunday.
Last time the teams met Kyneton secured a cup final penalty shoot-out win and supporters can expect another exciting contest this weekend.
Tatura coach Damien Rosella said his side was ready to go after a week off.
“I think the girls are feeling fit, excited and we should have a full list to chose from which is good,” Rosella said.
“In the home and away season we had some very close games (against Kyneton) and the cup game was decided by penalties, so Sunday won’t be any different.
“I think it’s going to be a tough game, they’re a well-drilled side, so we need to be on top of our game to try and get over the line.”
The winner of Sunday’s qualifying final will move straight through to the decider, while the loser will take the long way around with a preliminary final clash.
Elsewhere this weekend, Shepparton United’s League One men’s side will battle with Spring Gully at Stanley Avenue in a do-or-die encounter.
Meanwhile, the club’s women’s team will play for a place in the final.
Lucy Ciancio’s squad is pencilled in to take on Strathfieldsaye Colts on Sunday, with the qualifying final a chance to book a spot in the League One women’s decider.
Also on Sunday, Shepparton Jaguars will travel to Moama to take on Swan Hill in a League Two men’s semi-final showdown.
