The Corowa Sharks Swimming team, even though only a small cohort, proved to be a very competitive group of swimmers, who showed teamwork, sportsmanship and resilience throughout the day.
The coach, Robyn, and parents were very proud of the effort of all the swimmers.
Enya, competed in her first competitive swimming meet where she showed her developing skills and evolving swimming techniques that she had worked on during the winter training sessions, held at the Corowa Aquatic Centre.
The Corowa Shark swimmers achieved over 10 pb’s (personal best) at this first meet. Samuel came 1st in his three individual races and helped the boys swim confidently in their two relays and Clementine achieve three pbs and was a valuable member of the Under 12 Girls Freestyle relay.

The two representatives, Samuel and Clementine, received their team t-shirt and swim caps for the 8 – 11-year-old Country Junior District Meeting, to be held next weekend in Melbourne.
The club wish them both well and that they enjoy this wonderful opportunity to swim for the O&M District Swimming Association.
Thank you to the parents who continuously supported and encouraged their swimmers, and also for volunteering to time keep during the day.
