The two-day semi-finals were held at the Barooga Recreational Reserve on Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3.
Nathalia won the toss in the first innings and elected to bat first.
Nathalia’s top-order batter, Liam Evans, was his side’s best player, making 25 runs before falling to the skills of Cobram fielder Hunter Verhoeven and bowler Adam De Cicco.
Nathalia’s Ewan Congues made 24 runs before being bowled out by Shaun Downie.
Samuel Boyd made 13 runs before being removed by fielder Verhoeven and bowler De Cicco.
Liam Evans was Nathalia’s best bowler in the first innings, taking five wickets, with Nathalia’s Dylan Cunningham taking a further four wickets.
Meanwhile, the first innings saw De Cicco dominate the Cobram batting order, making 53 runs not-out.
Cobram top-order batter Lachlan Hyde made a respectable 34 runs before falling to Cunningham and Evans.
Cobram’s Shaun Downie made 32 runs before falling to Nathalia’s Brenton Campbell.
De Cicco was Cobram’s best bowler with five wickets, followed by Downie with three wickets.
The second innings saw Nathalia’s Evans make a respectable 55 runs.
Clancy Congues was Nathalia’s second-best batter in the second innings, making 26 runs before falling to the combined skills of Cobram fielder Jimmy Daniel and Hyde.
Meanwhile, Nathalia’s middle-order batter Cunningham made 16 runs, not-out.
Cunningham was also Nathalia’s best bowler for the second innings, taking three wickets for his side.
Cobram’s second innings saw De Cicco make 37 runs before falling to bowler Henry Congues.
De Cicco took three wickets for Cobram during the second innings.
