Chase Bartlett secured his place in the Bendigo Pioneers' final squad for 2025.
The official announcement was made on Wednesday, following months of intense competition and evaluation.
Chase's football journey has been entirely with the Rams, where he's risen through the ranks from a promising junior to a young talent with his first taste of senior-level play.
Chase has also been a Murray League representative at the inter-league carnivals, and involved with the Greater Western Sydney talent academies.
He made his senior debut with the Deni Rams last year against a strong Cobram side.
His selection as a member of the Pioneers squad is just reward for the work put in with his home club, and in Pioneers trials.
Training with the Pioneers’ under-16s team started over the Christmas holiday period, including a session on Christmas Eve.
This isn’t the first time Chase has been involved with the Bendigo Pioneer’s program.
Last year he played in the V/Line Cup with the Pioneers’ under-16s side.
During that tournament, he played in two games, kicking a goal and being named in the best in one of those hit-outs.
This year, Chase may be selected for a number of games in the under-16s Coates Talent League.
This opportunity will allow Chase to test his mettle against some great young football talent from across Victoria and neighbouring NSW regions.
The first game of the Coates Talent League season is scheduled for Saturday, March 29.
In preparation, the Pioneers played a practice match against the Murray Bushrangers under-16s on Saturday.
