Finley played Deniliquin in round three of A-grade cricket in the Murray Valley Cricket Association on Saturday.

Finley won the toss and went in to bowl first.
Dropped catches hurt the away side, including a dropped caught and bowled chance.
Eventually the first wicket was taken with Archie Mason (1-30) trapping Deni opener Boddie Arthur on the pad LBW.
After that was spells from Harrison King (2-49) and UK import Dillon Hutton on debut (1-56 and a catch).
The Cat’s other UK import, Harry Wilkinson, did some tidy work as wicketkeeper.
The Cats finished their bowling innings with Deni 4-262.
Finley’s batting innings started well with Noah Iddles (39).
After that, it was only Cougar McGrath (12 not out) to reach double figures, with the Cats dismissed for 96. T
he team is improving every week still with lots to work on when Finley play Berrigan in a T20 tomorrow night.
B-grade
Finley’s B-grade side travelled to Katunga on Saturday, looking to get their season off to a good start.
Winning the toss and batting, things looked promising with Cameron Arnold top scoring with 58.
Also contributing with the bat was Marcus Jackson (16) and Fraser Pinnuck (12), Finley finished their innings 9-144 after their 40 overs.
Finley took the field looking for early wickets and got what they asked for, however some solid partnerships from Katunga kept the scoreboard ticking over.
Some really good bowling performances from Anthony King (1-12 of 8), Arnold (2-16 of 8) and Lenny Dattoli (1-29 off 8) made sure that Katunga had to fight for every run right till the end, eventually passing the score in the 36th over and six wickets down.
Finley will look to take on Barooga this Thursday night with both teams looking to get their first win.
Under-15s
The under-15s travelled to Berrigan for their first game of the 24/25 season.
Finley won the toss and decided to bat.
Finley openers James Winn (38 retired not out) and Ryan Bauer (18) got us off to a good start.
Finley was batting really well, and Nick Chesworth (25 not out) and Jackson Pitt (24 not out) came in and hit the ball hard.
It pushed our total to 132 after 25 overs.
It was Finley’s turn to bowl, and they also did this well.
Six bowlers took wickets.
Berrigan finished all out for 104.
The team should be very happy with their efforts to start the season.
Under-13s
In the under-13s on Thursday night, the boys took on Cobram at home.
Starting off bowling, Finley had Tommy Cole and Luke Lowe coming in as opening bowlers, both taking important wickets.
Henry Pascoe and Lachlan Urquhart also got wickets.
Jackson Pyle did an awesome job as wicketkeeper.
Coming in as opening batters were Lincoln Price and Lachlan Urquhart, who both batted really well against good opposition.
Everyone was fortunate enough to get a bat, some twice.
Everyone played extremely well for their first hit of the season.
The team can go really far and enjoy some good cricket ahead.
