With 105 Little Athletes running, jumping and throwing their best each Friday night, a huge number of personal bests were recorded.
Club secretary Jo Mathews said the committee was impressed with the season’s little athletes.
“This season saw 33 of the athlete’s beating their own Personal Best’s more than 20 times!” Ms Mathews said.
“And 18 club records were broken across the season.”
Adding to the internal achievements, seven of the club’s athletes travelled to Leeton to compete in the Zone Championships with all qualifying to attend the Regional Championships in Wollongong.
Five were able to attend that event and four medals were won along with a number of further personal best efforts.
As a result of the financial support of a number of new sponsors this year, the club has been able to purchase new flags marking out the field and instruction boards to assist parent helpers understand the correct techniques and measurements.
“We are very grateful to all of the sponsors who support our club and our little athletes,” Ms Mathews said.
