Benalla and District Junior Football Family Fun Day: A Celebration of Community Spirit

Kicking off at 9.30am with the Under-12s match, the excitement will continue throughout the morning with an Auskick exhibition game at 11am, showcasing the talents of our youngest footballers.

The Under-14s will then take to the field at 11.45am for what promises to be an exhilarating clash.

But it’s not just about the footy. There will be plenty to do and see, making it a perfect day out for the whole family.

The day will feature a huge raffle with fabulous prizes generously donated by local businesses.

Whether you’re eyeing a meat tray, some finr local wines, or some amazing sports gear, the raffle has something for everyone.

If you’e feeling peckish the barbecue will be fired up, offering delicious egg and bacon rolls for the early birds, followed by sizzling sausages and mouth-watering hamburgers washing down with a delicious drink from the Early Bird Coffee Van.

It’s the perfect way to fuel up while cheering on your favourite teams.

The Family Fun Day is more than just a series of football games. It’s a celebration of the local community.

Club President Damien Cooney said it’s an opportunity to come together, support junior footballers, and enjoy a day filled with laughter, excitement, and good old-fashioned fun.

“Events like this are the lifeblood of our club,” he said.

“They bring everyone together and provide a fantastic opportunity for our young players to shine. We’re looking forward to a great turnout and an even better day.”

So, mark your calendars and head down to the Friendlies Oval on Sunday, July 14.
