Benalla 3x3 Basketball draws teams from around Australia

Champions League basketball was a slam dunk at the Benalla Festival.

While only a limited number of teams competed, local juniors thrived, with one team getting its hands on the big prize.

Local Benalla team The Boyzzzz took out the Juniors Grand Final, defeating fellow Benalla players, LHP, 7 to 2.

In the senior competition, the offer of FIBA 3x3 world ranking points drew teams from across the country.

In the final, The Alice Springs Centrals faced up against the Nunawading Sentinals.

The Centrals had the edge in a tense match-up and claimed the game 19 to 12.

It was an impressive effort by all who stepped out on the court at the weekend, given the scorching temperatures on Saturday.
