After an emotional league-cup double in 2024 saw them seal promotion, the Echuca Moama Border Raiders women’s side can now prepare in earnest for their League 1 campaign after the 2025 fixture was released.
The Bendigo Amateur Soccer League unveiled its League 1 men’s and women’s fixture list, the season set to begin on Saturday, April 26.
The Border Raiders’ first steps into the new league will come the following morning as Echuca-Moama takes on Tatura Soccer Club at Howley Oval in Tatura at 11am.
Jack Eddy Oval will host the Border Raiders home opener on May 11 with a noon kick-off, the local side taking on La Trobe University.
All told, the Border Raiders have 14 regular-season fixtures to negotiate, their final match taking place on August 23.
The Border Raiders missed promotion in 2023 by a single point, going on to win the Super Cup, the league's finals series.
Regrouping for 2024, Echuca Moama topped the league by a game, mathematically securing promotion on the final day, before again going on to be Super Cup champions.
The Border Raiders men’s side will again be competing in League 2 after finishing fifth in 2024.
