A great second week of Midweek Pennant October 22, all three teams winning.
Division A1 are currently second on the ladder behind Wodonga on percentage points.
Division A1 travelled to YMGCR on Tuesday and had an impressive win.
RSL defeated YMGCR 83/47.

Wednesday Social Bowls has struggled with the commencement of pennant.
The numbers are down and the match committee will be in attendance if you are wanting a game of bowls on a Wednesday.
Thursday Pennant Practice has had good numbers, and many of the members have taken the advantage of prepared greens to play club knock-out rounds.

Corowa RSL were significantly down, then a great turn around to win three rinks and a loss by only one shot.

Members thank Roseann Prentice who filled this position last season.
Member volunteers are asked to check the notice board roster for both Thursday night raffles and Friday IGA ham raffles.

A2 played their game at Moira on a very difficult green going down by 52 shots.
B2 were at home to Moira and had a good win, being up by 56 shots at the end of play. B3 were at North Albury losing by 43 shots.

Don’t forget that round 4 in midweek pennant will be played on Wednesday, November 6 instead of Tuesday, November 5 as the Tuesday is Melbourne Cup Day.
On Friday morning a game of Ladies Singles was played, with Lynne Pyke defeating Maureen Hutson.
On Sunday morning there was four games played, with some very close games. Paul Hickey defeated Clint Snow, Ian Bilney had a very tight games against Steve Rodway coming away with a 4 shot win.
Ian Lewis defeated Travis McDonald in another very close game, and Annette Norman defeated Caroline Lewis.
There is only two weeks left to add your team for the Mixed Pairs to be played on Sunday, November 17 at 9.30am. Entries close on November 10.
Corowa Indoor Carpet Bowls
Sunday’s winners on 16 and 15(31) were Joe Carnivale, Merylyn Milthorpe, and Rees Edwards.
With the runners-up on 15 and 5 (20) being Robyn Brindy, Ellen Buckley, and Glenda Willett.
Sunday also saw a win for Peter Manning and Ellen Buckley in the semi-finals of the pairs.
Tuesday’s social winners on 16 and 16 (32) were Betty Clancy, Joan Fletcher, Wendy Dunbar, and Joan Catlin.
With the runners-up on 16 and 6 (22) being Tony Coppolino, Gloria McCluskey, Peter Manning, and Glenda Willett.
And Thursday’s winners on 14 and 16 (30) were Merylyn Milthorpe, Jan Webber, and Joan Catlin.
With the runners-up on 6 and 19 (25) being Margaret Watson, Chris Hendry, and Glenda Willett.
