Winners – Jude Willett, Alex Martin, Steve Rodway and John Dalgleish. Runners up – Ian Bilney, Annette Norman, Estelle Hollingsworth and Shane Rosenow.

On Wednesday morning the final of the Ladies Pairs were played between Lynne Pyke and Margaret Watson against Maureen Hutson and Marie Lewsey and what a great game.
It was a very even start with both parties on 4 all after 6 ends.
Maureen and Marie were playing very well and winning the next few ends, after 12 ends being played, they were well up 12 to Lynne and Margaret’s 5. Both Lynne and Margaret were catching up and the score was 11 to 12 after 15 ends.
The next few ends see-sawed and after the 18 ends it was a draw 14 each, another end was required with Maureen and Marie coming away winners. Congratulations ladies on a great match, pity there couldn’t be two winners.
On Thursday after practice there was a light meal put on by the club, which was well attended and appreciated by all.
