It's great to be back playing and the weather conditions are perfect for bowls.
The volunteers continue to support the club, and no rain is making for extra work, thank you.

The Men's Nixon Singles Handicap matches are progressing well, and the Mixed Pairs are at Semi Final stage.

Following Easter, the club is organising a Mini Pennant competition over four Saturdays.
The format is Open Triples and if you are unable to play all rounds you may substitute a player.
At the completion of this event the Match Committee will be organising Jackpot Saturday Pairs.
Subscriptions are due and can be paid at the Match Committee Office at any time.
Members, start thinking about nominations for the new season, all executive positions are vacant, and the Club needs your continued support.

Corowa Civic Bowls Club
A big thank you to lan Bilney and helpers for replacing the wooden barriers around the garden on the roadside of the greens during the week. They look magnificent.
The catering people at the Club have a very busy few months ahead - the Edinburgh Shield over the weekend of 5th and 6th April, Presentation Evening on Friday 11th April, followed by the Easter Tournament, Recycle Stubbies Day on Sunday 27th April, and the Ladies 2 Day Tournament on 7th and 8th May.

On Wednesday morning a semi-final of the Ladies 75 Consistency was played between Eileen Ide and Annette Norman.
Eileen came away with the win and will now play Maree Lewis at a date to be arranged.
A round of the Ladies Triples will be played on Tuesday between Pam Tobias, Elleen Ide and Margaret Watson against Maureen Hutson, Maree Lewis and Denise Mihan.
Social Bowls was played on Wednesday morning with Steve Rodway and Graeme Mcintosh being the winners with runners up John Dalgleish and Ray Ager.
Those wishing to play social on either a Wednesday or Saturday please add your name to the sheet at the back gate or phone club and leave a message.
Civic is still taking entries for the Easter Tournament, phone, text or email your entry to Col Hendren, Eileen Ide or Annette Norman. Eileen and Annette are also taking entries for the Ladies Open Fours to be held on 7th and 8th May.
