The end of year and Club Trophy Presentations are scheduled for April 13th, a list is on the veranda notice board, we would love to see our members attending.

Sunday, March 9, Corowa RSL hosted the Anglers, Restock the Murray Social Bowls Tournament in what was a great day. Over sixty bowlers enjoyed the facilities at Club Corowa Bowls Club.
Thank you to the members who have been playing in district events post Pennant.
Corowa Civic Bowls Club
Corowa Civic hosted three divisions of Midweek Pennant on Tuesday.
The greens were in magnificent shape, many thanks to our Greenkeeper Andy and the Greens Committee.
A big turnout of spectators was in attendance to watch the exciting games.
A1 – Wangaratta 66 defeated Wodonga 50.
Winners of the Corowa Civic Bowls Club Mixed Pairs, Paul Hickey and Michele Shields.
This was a big turnaround as Wodonga finished on top of the ladder.
In B2 Tungamah 60 defeated Commercial Club 55.
Tungamah were quite a few shots behind with 2 ends to play but had some good play and luck to win by 5 shots. In B3 – Commercial Club 67 defeated Howlong 45. Many thanks to all Civic helpers on the day.
Corowa Civic Bowls Club A1 Grand Final game between Wangaratta and Wodonga.
On Wednesday morning the final of the Mixed Pairs were played between Michele Shields and Paul Hickey against Annette Norman and John Dalgleish.
Paul and Michele got off to a great start, John and Annette were coming back but the gap was too big.
Congratulations Paul and Michele on a great win.
On Saturday another game of the Ladies 75 Consistency was played between Maree Lewis and Estelle Hollingsworth.
This game was very tight with some brilliant bowls being played. Maree came away winner and will now play the winner of the game between Eileen Ide and Annette Norman.
Social bowls was played on Wednesday with the winners being Steve Rodway and Brian Shipcott.
Please note that Social Bowls on Wednesday, March 19 has been changed to Tuesday, March 18 as the club is booked for a conference on the Wednesday.
If you wish to play social bowls either Saturday or Wednesday add your name to the sheet at the back gate or phone the club.

We are taking entries for the Easter Tournament – Friday, March 18th (2 Bowl) Triples – Saturday 19th (3 Bowl) Pairs – Sunday 20th (2 Bowl) Triples.
The Ladies Two Day Fours Tournament on Wednesday, May 7 and Thursday, May 8, 2025, is also taking entries for this big event either email the club or phone Eileen, Annette or Col.
The Recycle Stubbies Day will be on Sunday, April 27. Add your name to the list on the notice board in the Club House with good prize money, so come along and have a great day.
