Division A1 are in third position behind Wodonga and Wangaratta.

The Calcutta vote count will take place immediately after the General Meeting at 10.30am.
Jenny Hovard will present the award on behalf of her husband Ted.

Club Championship Final
On Sunday morning the final of the Men’s Singles Championship was played between Ian Bilney and Ian Lewis. The score was very close at the beginning with the score being 5 all after 7 ends.
Ian Lewis was putting the pressure on, and winning quite a few ends, at the end of 17th end score was Ian Bilney 11 to Ian Lewis 14. Ian Lewis went on to win the game.
The onlookers were treated to some brilliant bowling by both players. Ian Lewis will now represent Corowa Civic in the Ovens & Murray Champion of Champions to be held at Wangaratta on Sunday, February 23.
Another Round of the Club Mixed Pairs was played on Sunday between Pam Tobias and Shane Rosenow against Michele Shields and Paul Hickey. Michele and Paul were too strong and came away winners.
The first round of Ladies Triples was also played on Sunday between Jan Wandel-Webber, Caroline Lewis and Estelle Hollingsworth against Janet Davis, Sue Dawson and Annette Norman.
This game was very tight, Janet, Sue and Annette came away winners by a couple of shots.

Corowa Civic won two games and lost one. Both A1 and B2 team 1 had wins against Corowa RSL and B2 team 2 lost their game at Yarrawonga.

Corowa Indoor Carpet Bowls
Sunday was a winning day for Joan Fletcher, Margaret Watson, Jan Webber, and Ellen Buckley with a score of 17 and 17 (34). The runners-up on 15 and 4 (19) were Glenda Willett, Joan Adams, and Helen Bartel.
On Tuesday, the winners were on 15 and 15 (30) were Gwen Mills, Glenda Willett, Joan Adams, and Tony Coppolino. With the runners-up on 10 and 16 (26) being Joan Fletcher, Joe Wilson, Ellen Buckley, and Peter Manning.
Thursday’s winners with 16 and 18 (34) were Kerry Whalley, Gloria McCluskey, and Jan Webber.
