It’s been a great representative winter season for the region’s bowlers, with great results at the Victorian and Australian Opens in the senior and junior ranks.
Attention now turns to the domestic season and weekly pennant competition.
While opening draws are yet to be finalised, players can expect the midweek pennant to begin on Tuesday, October 8, while the weekend pennant is set for Saturday, October 12.
Bowlers across the grades will be searching for that championship-winning feeling, last year enjoyed in division one by Mathoura.
The Timbercutters earned a remarkable championship win, defeating two-time reigning champion Tongala by seven shots to claim the first pennant in their 56-year history.
In the midweek pennant, Echuca will be out to defend its crown after claiming the division one crown by two shots over Moama Steamers.
Also returning in 2025 is the Bendigo Campaspe Goldfields Premier League, where Moama is the reigning champion.
The Steamers will kick off their 24/25 season with a grand final rematch against Bendigo East on Friday, October 25.
