The Victorian Government made the announcement on Wednesday afternoon after the region went another day without a confirmed COVID-19 case.
The easing of restrictions will allow for a range of outdoor activities to resume.
Community sport is permitted for outdoor training only with the minimum number of participants required to train.
This will allow cricket clubs to kick-start their preparations ahead of the upcoming Cricket Shepparton season.
Spectators are prohibited to attend training sessions, however, one parent is allowed to supervise their child.
There is still no call on when community sport competition can resume.
Meanwhile, community recreation facilities have been given the green light to welcome participants back.
This means golf lovers and enthusiasts will be dusting off their clubs and hitting the fairways once again.
Golfers must make sure to follow all COVID-19 restrictions, including signing in and wearing masks while playing.
Mooroopna Golf Club professional Darren Rodgers said while there were a few details to still be ironed out, the course would be open from Thursday.
“We are just finalising everything now, but the course and driving range will be open. We are just really excited to welcome everyone back,” Rodgers said.
“The driving range will be open with a maximum of 10 people allowed and one person per bay.
“And the course will be open to social play with groups of four and groups must maintain a distance of 50m. There won't be a return to competition golf, which is unfortunate, but I'm sure everyone is looking forward to getting out for a hit.”
Outdoor communal gym equipment and skateparks will reopen, while outdoor personal training can recommence with up to 10 people and a trainer.
Those looking to take a dip are in luck with outdoor pools now open with up to 50 people allowed.
