Moama played host to an Australian Indoor Qualifiers event on Saturday, with Kevin Anderson just missing out on the overall win on his home turf.
Bundoora's Jason McCloy took out the final against Anderson with a tie-break to book his ticket to the Australian Indoor Championships in Tweed Heads in August.

With 24 players vying for the top spot, the other six sectional winners joining McCloy and Anderson in the knockout finals were Rich River's Peter Nesbitt, Moama's Bradley Campbell, Vern Rehe and Stuart Whyte, Lake Boga's Ray Wilson and Wunghnu's Rick Anderson.
Playing off in the quarter-finals, Kevin Anderson beat Nesbitt, Campbell defeated Wilson, Rehe knocked off Whyte and McCloy defeated Rick Anderson.

Then with a grand final berth on the line, Anderson and McCloy secured semi-final victories over Campbell and Rehe respectively.
