Centering around an incident in the reserves match between Ardmona and Longwood on May 8 — where a number of people not involved in the match entered the field of play — the investigation also led to two registered KDL players being suspended.
A registered player under the age of 18 accepted a two-match set penalty for his involvement in the incident.
In addition, Poloniuni Fiefia Tuliakiono — who was registered to Ardmona at the time, but has since been cleared to Rushworth — was charged with engaging in a melee and unbecoming conduct.
Fiefia Tuliakiono was handed a five-match suspension, with three further matches suspended until the end of the 2022 season.
But the other person involved was not a registered player and therefore could not be brought before the tribunal.
Instead, it was left to the league to set a ban of its own.
“The KDL expect all clubs, players, officials, members and spectators are behaving in a manner that is respectful of others and reflects the values embodied by the KDL and clubs,” league president Fraser Kerrins said.
“Any person or club found not to be acting in this manner will be dealt with swiftly and outcomes will be severe in order to ensure changes of behaviour occur and that there is a deterrent to others.”
● There were no reports across the Goulburn Valley, Kyabram District, Picola District or Murray football leagues at the weekend.
