It is the second episode between the top-four outfits this season, with Echuca having the last laugh over the Bombers in a tight round-three affair.
That day was memorable for the men in bottle green, as they ended a 10-year drought against the reigning premier.
Echuca - bolstered by the return of talented defender Cam Valentine - will be intent not to wait that long between drinks again.
“It should be another cracking game. Every time it always seems to be a tight contest against them,” Kyabram co-coach Mick Mattingly said.
“We are looking forward to getting out there, hopefully we can peg one back and draw it one-all for the season.”
Saturday's round-10 encounter will have extra reverence to it.
The match takes place in the first weekend of the league-wide Indigenous Round, which coincides with the start of NAIDOC Week on Sunday.
Mattingly said his club could not wait to be involved and celebrate the history and culture of Indigenous Australians.
Both clubs will don eye-catching Indigenous guernseys, with the first-year mentor looking forward to seeing Kyabram's stunning jumper designed by Neva Takele in action.
“One-hundred per cent, we are really proud to be involved,” Mattingly said.
“We have been in a couple of indigenous matches against Echuca before and it's great that the league is now getting involved, it's a fantastic initiative.
“And we can't wait to wear and represent our indigenous guernsey. It looks unbelievable.”
In a boost to Kyabram's chances on Saturday, talented onballer Brad Whitford returns to the senior line-up from injury.
Mattingly was rapt to have the midfielder's silky skills at his disposal.
“Brad comes back into the side and he's a major in for us,” he said.
“Our skill level has been down all season and Brad is known for being a great user of the footy. He can hurt you on the inside and outside.”
