Archie Daniel was selected by the school to compete in the Kahoot Quiz as part of the school's involvement in one of the AFL's community camps, which occur during the competition's pre-season.
While the AFL Goulburn Murray region was allocated reigning premier Richmond, the likes of Brownlow and Norm Smith medallist Dustin Martin and Coleman medallist Jack Riewoldt were not able to visit due to COVID-19 restrictions.
So AFL Goulburn Murray decided a virtual camp, run via Zoom, would do the trick.
“Under normal circumstances clubs do community camps,” AFL Goulburn Murray football development manager Trevor Mellington said.
“With the COVID-19 situation there was no chance for face-to-face visits.
“We were allocated Richmond and set it up as a virtual community camp and the players engaged with school kids over Zoom.
“All schools in Richmond's Next Gen Academy catchment were invited and we had 21 secondary schools and 71 primary schools participate.”

Mellington said 4446 boys and 4176 girls at primary school level and 514 boys and 354 girls in secondary classes were involved in the virtual camp and explained the benefits of doing it online.
“The online option allowed us to get to more kids than we would have otherwise, which was a good outcome,” he said.

While Daniel received the jumper on behalf of the school, he personally received a merchandise pack from the Tigers, the team he supports.
“I'm very happy and proud to receive this jersey on the behalf of my school,” Daniel said.
“I didn't always go for Richmond, but I started barracking for them back in 2013.
“My favourite Richmond player is Jack Graham.”
The presentation was done at Bourchier Street Primary School on June 24.
