Deniliquin Rovers, Berrigan, Rennie, Blighty, Tocumwal, Mathoura and Jerilderie will host matches this weekend.
The Rovers will play Picola United, the Saints battle Tungamah, the battle of the Grasshoppers will be held at Rennie as Yarroweyah makes the trip north, Strathmerton heads to Redlegs territory to take on Blighty, Katamatite plays the Bloods, the Timbercutters host Waaia and the Demons and Katunga face off.
Katandra has the bye.
Katunga's coach Aimee Sidebottom is thrilled her team has been able to gel so quickly after assembling a new combination at the start of the season.
“From a team perspective, only a couple of us had played together (before this season),” Sidebottom said.
“I'm pretty stoked with how the team has come together and formed a good bond and come together as a good unit.”
The bond the team has built is showing, with the Swans on a four-game winning streak, averaging 65 goals a game in that stretch, with a high score of 75 against Berrigan on May 22.
“Yes we are (building momentum), which has been good,” Sidebottom said.
“We have been quite settled the last few weeks.
“It was good for us to play last week.
“Even though we had to travel, it was still good to be out on the court.”
While Yarroweyah coach Bec Demaio said her team was raring to go after missing out on playing last week after its match with Tungamah was postponed.
“It was hard to watch every other team play and we weren’t able to,” Demaio said.
“We will come out firing (this weekend).”
One player who won't be out there this weekend is Chanalee Nicosia, who has been told by doctors she will have to retire after injuring her ACL a few weeks ago.
“I'd like to single out Chanalee, who has done her ACL,” Demaio said.
“She was our centre and did the injury about three weeks ago and had to have surgery straight away.
“The physio and doctor have told her she will not be able to play again.
“She'll be a massive loss for our team and our club.”
Only those who have not left the Victoria-NSW border bubble in the past 14 days are allowed to attend the match, regardless of whether they are playing or a spectator.
The league fixture remains 18 rounds, with all clubs playing all sides once prior to round 17 and sides only playing two sides twice, in round 17 and 18, which remain unchanged.
Finals dates also remain as scheduled.
