However, the GVL and MFNL have revised their fixtures at the weekend.
The GVL has opted to play the postponed round-eight matches on August 28, following round 18, with all finals matches to be pushed back one week.
Round-nine action will be played this weekend if the lockdown is lifted as planned on Friday.
This decision means the GVL grand final will be played on Sunday, September 26, following the AFL decider.
It is a throwback to how the league used to operate its final match of the season.
The last grand final to be played following the national competition was the 2015 decider between Benalla and Kyabram.
Late on Friday night, the league issued a statement regarding its fixture changes following a meeting with the board and club presidents.
“If the lockdown is lifted as planned next week, clubs will play round nine on Saturday, June 5, as previously scheduled,” the statement read.
“Round-eight games will be slotted in after round 18 (August 28) and all finals will be postponed a week.
“Once we have confirmed ground availability for finals, we'll publish a new fixture and update our website.”
Murray league has decided to go down the same path as the GVL with hopes of hosting matches this coming weekend.
Although, the league has moved its postponed round-eight games to the weekend of its general bye on July 3.
Which will now have round eight wedged in between rounds 12 and 13.
Following a discussion with its member clubs on Friday, Murray league released a statement to its Facebook page regarding the fixture amendments.
“Following discussions with the clubs on Friday evening, it was agreed to move round eight matches to what was the general bye weekend on July 3,” the post read.
“The league will continue to monitor the situation and resume games when safe to do so, but the aim at this stage is to restart Saturday, June 5, with round-nine matches.”
Kyabram District League is yet to make an announcement on when its postponed round-eight matches will be played.
