The Timbercutters moved into 11th position on the table after knocking off the 2019 premier Strathmerton 35-27.
The loss was the Bulldogs’ second of the season and leaves them in seventh position on the ladder.
Katamatite kept its unbeaten run going with a 10-goal win over Deniliquin Rovers.
The Tigers sit in second spot, behind Jerilderie, after the 40-30 win.
The Rovers’ first loss has them drop to fourth on the table.
Tigers coach Tesslyn Saunders was pleased to see her team's grit on show.
“It was really positive as it was a hard-fought, competitive game,” Saunders said.
“We kept our composure and played good netball in the last 15 minutes, which was good to see.
“The girls have played consistent netball over four quarters (throughout the season) and our fitness has really got us across the line.
“We always try and focus on our fitness as without fitness you aren’t able to match the tougher sides.
“It's a testament to the girls to be able to run out the game.”
Saunders praised the work of defender Sarah Skehan.
“Sarah Skehan was everywhere on the weekend,” Saunders said.
“She was taking intercepts, she was rebounding strongly and was shutting down her player and was clearly our best."
Jerilderie also remains undefeated after it knocked off Berrigan 41-31.
The Demons’ percentage of 163.03 is keeping them on top of the ladder, while Berrigan is sitting in 10th spot and is a win outside the top eight.
Aimee Sidebottom and Anna Newman stocked the scoring charts for Katunga in its win over Yarroweyah.
Sidebottom scored 21 and Newman added 18 in the 61-16 win, while Grace Tyack was also instrumental in the victory.
Katunga moves into third position on the ladder and two wins behind the undefeated clubs that occupy the top two positions, while Yarroweyah is still searching for its first win of the season and languishing in last place.
In the round's other matches, Tungamah proved too good for Rennie, winning 47-21, Waaia snuck home against Tocumwal 48-43 and Picola United defeated Katandra 43-31.
