The Wombats improved their Kyabram District League record to 3-3 with a classy 50-36 win over the reigning premier in the round six encounter.
“I think it was our best team performance so far this season,” McCready said.
“Everyone pulled their weight. There wasn't any passengers on the court.
“I was pretty proud of the way the girls performed.”
The Wombats were able to wrestle control of the match with a dominant first half.
McCready said the way her side dug in during the early stages of the match allowed for the result to end up in its favour.
The mentor was also pleased with the performances from defender Georgia Ross, attackers Kelsey O'Neill and Bridie Whitford and midcourter Bridget Murray.
“Georgia was a standout in defence and provided plenty of turnovers,” McCready said.
“I thought our shooters were really accurate as well and we attacked the best we have all season.
“Kelsey was fantastic in goals, Bridget put in a great effort through the midcourt and Bridie did well in the attacking end.
“It was just a really strong team performance.”
The loss means Stanhope sits on eight points after six rounds.
