There was plenty of each on show at Mooroopna when round two of the Northern Region Series hit Goulburn Valley Junior Motorcycle Club on Sunday.
“We had around 200 bikes present on the day, the racing was fantastic and there was some great competition out there,” club president Matt Jobling said.
“I was happy with the way the event unfolded and we're very grateful to have the support of local businesses and volunteers.”
Using Sunday's action as a yardstick, the club looks primed and ready to host the Junior State Titles on July 31-August 1.
Mooroopna will come alive with the roar of 350 bikes over the two days — and Jobling cannot wait to do the honours once more.
“There are a few locals who've held state titles before, so it will be good for them to get down and support the racing in their hometown,” he said.
