To witness the rematch of the 2019 grand final between heavyweight Kyabram and challenger Echuca.
There are so many questions people want answered and come Saturday afternoon at Echuca's Victoria Park, most of those will be answered upon completion of the round three encounter.
Has Echuca closed the gap to the reigning premier? Or will Kyabram's stranglehold on the competition continue?
One person who has patiently waited for answers is Murray Bombers co-coach Andrew Walker.
The star talent admitted he had reflected on the 22-point grand final loss many times in the past 19 months.
“I've thought about it a lot,” Walker said.
“When you have a year off, you can consistently think about it, and that's tough. We were looking forward to a big year in 2020 and trying to make up for it by having a great year of football.
“But that wasn't going to be the case. Now we get our chance, we get to play against them and see where we are at and I know that our whole group are looking forward to the opportunity.”
After a poor performance in the opening round, Echuca rebounded in style with a start-to-finish win over Benalla.
In the Kyabram camp, co-coach Mick Mattingly highlighted the anticipation among the group ahead of the grand final rematch.
The gun midfielder also said he would return to the line-up after missing the round two win over Shepparton Swans.
“I know the whole playing group is really pumped. It's always a big game against Echuca,” Mattingly said.
“We are looking forward to getting out there and challenging ourselves against a quality opponent.”
The Bombers are awaiting the fitness of slick on-baller Brad Whitford, who suffered a head knock against the Swans.
Mattingly said they would "wait and see" on how Whitford pulls up before naming him to face the Murray Bombers.
Kyabram will welcome back Mattingly after he attended a wedding last weekend.
The playing coach said he was impressed with what he saw after he had watched the tape from the round two victory.
“I've watched the game and it was really good to see us get back to the Kyabram pressure that we are known for,” Mattingly said.
“We have quite a lot of new faces in the group, so it's going to take time for everyone to familiarise and adjust to the style we play.
“But I felt we got back to that Kyabram brand last week.”
