East Goulburn Primary School Sports Association held its annual athletics carnival at McEwen Reserve, Shepparton on March 26.

The event brought together 650 students from nine schools, including Congupna, Katamatite, Katandra West, Kialla Central, Kialla West, Lemnos, Shepparton East, Tallygaroopna and Zeerust.
Association secretary, and principal of Kialla Central Primary School, Debbie Humphries said the event allowed students to compete at a higher level.
“It's a fantastic opportunity for small schools to get together to compete at the next level,” she said.
Humphries praised the work of parents, helpers and Year 10 students from the Greater Shepparton Secondary College for the work they did to assist in the running of the day.
