Barlow has taken on the role as a playing coach, ending a three-year hiatus from competitive netball.
Barlow brings a wealth of experience back to Murray Netball League with her, playing for Colbinabbin in the Heathcote District league for six years.
During her time with Colbo she won three premierships and represented the HDL interleague squad — before finishing up in 2017 to travel.
‘‘I’m visioning a very successful year in 2021,’’ Barlow said.
‘‘I spent my teenage years playing at Rams building a foundation for my netball career and now I’m excited to be able to lead the club.”
With a relatively young list of players keen to compete, Barlow said her main focus for the season was to develop the future stars of the club.
‘‘It thrills me to have a number of strong, young women that are coming through and stepping up to play amazing netball,” she said.
‘‘Leading into 2021, a huge focus for me is on development and the guidance and nurturing of the future of our club.”
