With a similar squad hitting the track this season, Edgar expects the team to be flag contenders again.
“We have no real changes from 2019,” Edgar said.
“I think we are going to be there again.
“Going back-to-back is certainly the plan.”
Edgar said premiership player Sam Lewis was ready to take the next step in his own development.
“One of the young fellas, Sammy Lewis, has stepped up again,” Edgar said.
“He played in the grand final in 2019 and I think he was only 18.”
Edgar also expected returning player Matt Ryan and playing assistant coach Zack Betson to be ones to watch.
“Matty Ryan is back at the club — he played in the 2015 premiership and is a hard at it player,” he said.
“Zack Betson is fitter this year and provides us with silky smooth skills on the outside.”
