Adams, who is co-captain of the Murray Bushrangers’ girls, ran out alongside former Bushie talent and captain Locke in the 8.7 (55) to 3.4 (22) win at Arden St.
Locke hit the scoreboard in the third quarter, while Adams played a strong game across the forward flank.
Murray Bushrangers assistant coach Mario de Santa-ana said the entire NAB League club was proud of the duo.
“We are just rapt for them. It is a tremendous achievement for all the hard work the two of them have put in,” he said.
“It is great to see that two girls, one from Shepparton and the other from Seymour, can make it onto the VFLW list. It gives the current group of Bushie players belief that they can also achieve the same."
It was a historic win for the Borough, with the long-standing VFA-VFL outfit fielding a women's football team for the first time in its 147-year history.
● Around the VFLW grounds, Mooroopna's Tamara Smith was unable to sing the song for Geelong in its clash against Collingwood.
Smith — who was named in the Cats’ leadership group last week — and her teammates suffered a narrow two-point loss at Deakin University.
Not even a final three-goal term was enough to claw the Cats over the line in the 6.6 (42) to 7.2 (44) loss.
Tallygaroopna product Teagan Brett and Rochester's Sarah Ingram featured for Carlton in the Blues’ 36-point loss to Casey Demons.
It was the same result for Finley's Eloise Ashley-Cooper and her Essendon teammates, who fell three goals short of Southern Saints.
● In AFLW action, Mansfield product Bonnie Toogood booted three goals in the Western Bulldogs’ 25-point win over GWS.
Toogood (10 disposals, five marks) and teammate Isabel Huntington combined for six goals and were the Dogs’ two standout performers in the win.
The Bulldogs have now won four on the trot since their opening round loss.
Shepparton's Angela Foley and her Adelaide teammates enjoyed a 53-point win over St Kilda.
And Shepparton's Grace Egan could not help Carlton over the line against North Melbourne, with the Blues going down by 22 points.
Geelong's horror season continued at the weekend.
The Cats suffered a 9.6 (60) to 2.1 (13) loss to Richmond, handing the Tigers their first AFLW win.
Mooroopna's Millie Brown, Kyabram's Julia Crockett-Grills and Benalla's Becky Webster battled hard in the loss.
