United sent the home side in with great effect, bowling it out for 103, including a collapse of 4-4 when the score was 5-79.
Mitch Jarrett was the pick of the United bowlers with figures of 3-23.
Numurkah wouldn't have made three figures if it wasn't for Michael Eckard, who top-scored with 38, and some late order hitting from number 10 Aaron Harding, who finished as the not out batsman.
Harding managed 16 from his 33 deliveries, while Liam Gledhill (14 from 34) also showed resistance in the middle order.
After a shaky start, skipper Dwain Vidler played a captain's knock, finishing 26 not out as United chased down the target with five wickets in hand.
Jarrett also chimed in with 19 runs in a man of the match performance before he was dismissed by Numurkah's best bowler Tim Braybon.
Rehan Bari also contributed 21 in the win.
Braybon's figures were 2-17 as Matt Cline (2-25) also snared multiple wickets, while earlier in the clash Ethan McLaren (2-15) joined Jarrett among the wickets for United.
