A massive 29-ball 55 for Winter-Irving set up a huge 90-run win over Central Park-St Brendan’s, before he came out and took 4-8 with the ball to dismiss the Tigers for 61 in reply.
Winter-Irving smashed four fours and three sixes in his knock, which led Nagambie to 4-151 from 20 overs alongside Kasey Duncan (35).
Winter-Irving then dismantled the Tigers’ middle order alongside Brayden Biggs (3-7 from 2.4 overs) as only one batter could hit double figures in the run chase.
A stranglehold from Alec Young was key in Kyabram’s win over Haisman Shield-leading Waaia.
Young took 3-4 from four overs, while Charlie McLay also snared three to restrict Waaia to 8-95 from 20 overs, which Kyabram was able to chase down with two overs to spare.
Forties to Hadleigh Sirett and Jedd Wright helped Katandra overcome Tatura by 43 runs.
Sirett hit 48 and Wright 47 to set up the Eagles for their total of 4-138, but Tatura was never in the chase.
Two early wickets to Sirett left the Bulldogs reeling at 3-16, and they never recovered, limping to 95 before being dismissed on the second-last ball of the innings.
Bailey Archer took 2-18 from four overs for Tatura, while Peter Watt top-scored with 22 in the loss.
An unbeaten 48 to Jac Smith-Williams helped guide Mooroopna to a six-wicket win over Numurkah with six balls to spare.
Smith-Williams anchored the chase with help from Corey Windridge (23), with Michael Eckard leading the charge for Numurkah taking 2-13 from four overs.
Matt Cline had earlier set up the total of 4-104 with his 38 not out.
Tim and Joel Brett shone for Northerners in their side’s win over Karramomus on Saturday.
The brothers made 41 not out and 38 respectively to chase down Karramomus’ 112 with five wickets and three overs in hand after Josh and Trent Sidebottom took two wickets apiece.
