That is the message from GVBBL Fantasy HQ ahead of the return of the Goulburn Valley Bush Bash League on Sunday.
Gone are the restrictive qualifiers of season one of the fantasy version of the all-star competition.
No longer will you have to pick three players from each of the four franchises, while also juggling marquee and captain selections.
Coaches of the GVBBL outfits have been able to select from the entire pool of talent ahead of both campaigns of the competition — and now so can you.
Want to pick an entire squad of marquees? Go right ahead.
Think your best approach is to fill your team with players from only one or two franchises? Be our guest.
This season the yet-to-be-determined prizes will be geared more towards single-round efforts, so fantasy coaches are also able to throw out their entire squad and start again each week.
That squad will again be made up of 12 players, with one designated skipper to score double points and a vice-captain and emergency as back-ups.
Point scoring will also be tweaked, with one point for a run, 20 for a wicket and 10 for a catch.
An unassisted run-out is 15 points — as is a stumping — while a run-out accredited to two players is worth five points apiece.
The only bonus points available will be an extra 10 for a half-century — so a batsman scoring a ton will get two of those bonuses — with the wicket points beefed up to make up for the missing three-wicket addition.
So what are you waiting for? Email sport@sheppnews.com.au to register your interest in the competition, with lockout for round one set for 11am on Sunday.
