The competition's second season will commence at Kyabram on January 10, followed by Barooga on January 17 and Shepparton on January 31.
Defending champions, the SRP Mud Dogs, will be hoping to reach the final on February 7.
GVBBL organiser David D'Elia said the competition had waited for more information on COVID-19 restrictions before locking in fixture dates.
“It was all driven by COVID-19 restrictions and knowing when we could welcome crowds to the matches,” D'Elia said.
“That's why we have updated the fixture. We have yet to announce the host venues, but the opening rounds will be held in Kyabram, followed by Barooga and then Shepparton.
D'Elia confirmed multiple updates to this year's rosters.
All teams will nominate five players they wish to retain from last year's draft, while they must draft eight new players.
And clubs can nominate up to nine marquee players — with any three of the nine to play in a single game.
The GVBBL draft will return and is scheduled for Sunday, November 29 at Deakin Reserve.
“The draft will be streamed online, but we are working on welcoming spectators on the day,” D'Elia said.
“We might run it on the ground at Deakin Reserve with a marquee set up. It will begin around lunch time and we want to create an event that allows people to sit down and enjoy themselves.”
