The Kyabram District League club is urging volunteers to put their hand up and fill multiple committee roles at Wednesday night's meeting.
Rushworth failed to form a committee at its first AGM on November 4, with the president, vice-president, treasurer, secretary, junior development co-ordinator and football director roles left vacant.
Outgoing president Peta Williams, who has spent five years in the role, hoped the community would rally around the club.
“It is really important for the town to show its support of our club,” Williams said.
“After the year we have had with COVID we hope people will put their hand up and enjoy the good family feeling we have established at the club.”
League operations manager Nate Dedman encouraged community members to offer their services and join the Tiger army.
“We have effectively come out of 12 months of hibernation,” Dedman said.
“The club is in a really strong financial position. The outgoing committee are committed to the club and will assist the new committee members, they are just wanting fresh faces to step in and fill the roles.
“I encourage all past and present players to get down to the meeting and help grow and strengthen Rushworth's club and community.”
Rushworth, which was formed more than 120 years ago, has a rich history in district football.
The Tigers claimed a three-peat of premierships and recorded five in total while a member of Goulburn Valley League.
Rushworth's last senior premiership came more than 15 years ago, when it defeated Lancaster in the 2004 KDL decider.
“There is a strong passion within the community to ensure that this historic club continues for many years to come,” Dedman said.
“Rushworth has a group of committed people that are working very hard to fill these positions.
“All football clubs go through a period of trying to find volunteers. I'm really confident that on Wednesday night the club will have formed a committee.
“AFL Goulburn Murray and the KDL can provide assistance for the new committee, we are always here to help.
“Jami Macri (AFLGM regional manager), Fraser Kerrins (KDL president) and myself will be in attendance to offer our support.”
● Rushworth's AGM will be held at the clubrooms and begins at 7 pm.
