The dashing midfielder has been superb for his Lions this season, helping them jump into fourth spot on the table on Saturday with a best afield performance.
It was the eighth time Gash was awarded the maximum three votes in a match this year, with the prime mover beginning the campaign with five best on ground performances in the first nine rounds.
The scintillating start helped Gash keep pace with Nathalia's Bailey Bell in the early stages of last night's vote count before putting his foot down in the second half of the season to snare the medal with 30 votes ahead of Bell's 27.
The exciting young pair gapped the rest of the field, with Tungamah's Bodhi Butts and Echuca United's Farran Priest sharing the third step on the podium with 23 votes apiece.
Rounding out the top five in the count was Barooga's Ricky Thomson on 21 votes, joining teammate Zac Brain (17 votes) as the only members of the top 10 not tasting finals action this weekend.
Goal-kicking supremo Josh Mellington was hotly tipped to poll heavily last night after kicking 125 goals in 18 games, but finished the evening with 11 votes and one best afield performance.
The Echuca United star, who announced on the McPherson Media Group live stream that he would be an Eagle next year, still left with the Les Mogg Cup for senior leading goal-kicker.
Other senior awards went the way of Numurkah's Beau McKeown for the Most Valuable Player and teammate Josh O'Dwyer and Cobram's Luca Allen as joint winners of the Rising Star Award.
Alan Richardson took home the Damien Jones Medal as best and fairest player in the reserves grade with 28 votes, with Echuca United's Anthony McMahon finishing second on 17.
McMahon also claimed the reserves leading goal-kicker award with 110 majors.
Mulwala's Zach Scott snared the under-17 200 Club Medal on 34 votes ahead of Moama's Noah Milner on 29, while Deniliquin's Charlie Hillier was named winner of the under-14 count ahead of Tongala's Harley Reid.
Reid led the goal-kicking in his division with 127, as did Rumbalara's Djaidha Miller with 72 in the under-17s.
Echuca United was named the Champion Club once again, while Nathalia's Jeanette Hill was crowned the Administrator of the Year.
