Shepparton police are investigating a collision that saw one vehicle catch alight and set fire to nearby bushland at the weekend.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident near the Watt Rd and Riverview Dve intersection in Kialla by a 000 caller at around 10.40pm on Saturday, March 8.
Police said two vehicles travelling in the same direction were involved.
They were both driven by Shepparton men who were the sole occupants of each car.
One vehicle allegedly drove into the back of the vehicle in front of it, causing both cars to slide into nearby trees, where one erupted into flames.
A Fire Rescue Victoria spokesperson said there was minor impact to nearby bush, and the incident was deemed under control at 10.50pm.
Ambulance Victoria said a man in his 30s with an upper body injury and a man in his 20s with a suspected upper body injury were taken to GV Health by ambulance in stable condition.
Police investigations are ongoing.
