A vehicle stolen from Mooroopna last week has been found dumped in Shepparton.
The Mazda CX-5 was stolen from a business in Mooroopna during the day on Thursday, January 16.
Police found the vehicle dumped in a Shepparton street on Monday, January 20.
A 30-year-old Shepparton man was arrested outside Coles supermarket in Vaughan St, Shepparton at 9.15am on Monday.
He has been charged with the theft of the vehicle.
Police said when he was arrested, the man allegedly had a knife and methamphetamines on him.
He was charged with possession of a controlled weapon and possession of methamphetamines.
He has also been charged over an attempted burglary on the building at KidsTown at Shepparton earlier in January.
The man was also charged with two counts of obtaining property by deception.
