A Shepparton teenager has been charged after allegedly stealing a Mercedes-Benz in Melbourne’s south-east on Monday morning.
Police allege the 18-year-old male and another youth entered a Black Rock house through a rear door about 1am on June 27.
They allegedly stole a handbag, a phone, cash and a set of keys, as well as a 2013 Mercedes-Benz B-Class sedan.
They were found and arrested with the assistance of a police dog and the air wing.
The Shepparton teen, 18, has been charged with aggravated burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, theft and committing an indictable offence while on bail.
He has been bailed to appear in Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court in October.
A Carrum Downs boy, 16, who is in hospital, will be summonsed to appear in a children’s court on the same charges.
