Detectives from the Victoria Police Armed Crime Squad have been told a man, who was allegedly armed, entered the property at Fairway Dve, Mooroopna, about 10.50pm on Thursday, January 6, a Victoria Police spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said the man allegedly confronted staff and made multiple demands for cash, before a staff member handed over a quantity of money.
The man then left the premises, the spokesperson said.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
Mooroopna Golf Club manager Craig Prothero said staff that were working at the time were shaken, but okay.
“It’s not a situation you want your staff to go through,” he said.
The man was allegedly armed with a knife.
The investigation is still ongoing, and police urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
