Man arrested following fast food shop burglaries

Detective Senior Constable Nathan Berryman said the man allegedly broke into Red Rooster in St George’s Rd, Shepparton, at around 2.20am.

He said he then allegedly burgled KFC in Wyndham St, Shepparton, at 2.50am.

Cash was allegedly stolen in both instances, which has not been recovered, police said.

The man has been bailed to appear in Shepparton Magistrates’ Court next year.
